In the 31st century, brutal wars are fought using colossal machines, and human lives are valued less than water. In this action RPG, you embody Jason Youngblood, a war cadet determined to defend his planet, his honor, and his life. This game, the first in a large yet incoherent series set in the same universe, is based on the BattleTech tabletop strategy game. From its name to the game's realities, everything is derived from this source. As Jason Youngblood, a budding BattleTech pilot, you assume the role of commander of BattleTech units, which are gigantic robots controlled by humans. Although it adapts the tabletop strategy and its rules, the game features a main storyline and blends both turn-based and real-time elements. You navigate the world map in real time, while battles unfold in a turn-based system. Throughout the game, your units can receive numerous upgrades, contingent on your success in increasingly challenging battles.
